It’s a small ship and needs a TLC but we had a great time. Loved the Globe with the excellent band Pulse. Service very good through except for dining room where very slow. Visiting entertainers brilliant, including a unique impressionist/remixed, etc. ports of call were excellent and transfers were provided. Weather was not brilliant and had to dodge the rain but it didn’t spoil it. Embarkation and disembarkation was easy. Buffet was always good, especially the cakes.

One thing to note a lot of balcony cabins have small baths (3ft) and a shower over them. Quite a steep step into the bath so you need to be aware if this causes difficulties. There are more glamorous ships but Arcadia delivers excellent value for money. Something to do always. They didn’t cater very well for Solos so I would set up your own Facebook group for the cruise. We did this and got some useful tips.
