Sail Date: Jun 2010

My Mom, DD (19) and myself were a bit apprehensive due to some of the reviews on this site. We decided a cruise is what you make it and went with an attitude of FUN, FUN, FUN!! We were 3 generations of women, all looking for a good time! And boy, did we find it!!!

We flew into Ft. Laudable with a short bus ride to the Port of Miami. Due to my being in a wheelchair we sailed thru security and embarked in no time. We had a bite to eat at Rosie's and went on the search for our room. We had an ocean view room that was quite large compared to NCL. Oh, and the storage space was crazy good!! We three girls and all our STUFF had a place to go. Suitcases fit nicely under the bed. Ample counter and shelf space in the bathroom for makeup and such. One suggestion...you may want to pack a few hangers. Some are provided, but we still needed more. There is one plug in the desk area and we brought a power strip for extra plugs.

The food at Rosie's was good and plentiful. There were a few lines but they moved quickly. Dinner was in the Lincoln Dining room. We opted for your time dining and we never had to wait. The food was good, but we noticed it wasn't as good as Destiny in 2007. The Supper Club is $30 pp and well worth it. One of the BEST steaks I've ever had. The service was swell as well! :0) Entertainment was nice. It did seem like the same entertainment as our last cruise. The late night comedians were a HOOT!! There was always music playing somewhere and the clubs seemed to be hoppin'. The drinks are EXPENSIVE! $7.50 and up. The virgin drinks were around $5.

Cabin Review

Cabin 6D

Cabin 2278 had tons of storage, was clean and had a mini bar. The hair dryer is in the desk drawer. Very comfortable for 3 people. My DD said the couch/bed was VERY comfy.
