A few surprises - New fees charged for Theatre entertainment, Movies Under the Stars and most of the other entertainment before 10 PM. Assigned dining room table in the Washington Dining Room and seated with a group of single women instead of a table for 2; location of the table did not allow us to view the crew entertainment. Buffet food was sub-par with long lines. Hot tub in the Ocean Suite is a narrow high tub with jets. Only a child take a bath and enjoy the jets. State room shower was inconveniently placed and hard to use.. I would expect Suites to have a flat screen wall-mounted TV. The TV is small and has a very bad picture, plus the Carnival menu does not work well with the outdated hardware.

Pros

• The Carnival staff was very good and attentive, with a few exceptions in Guest Services

Port Reviews

Cozumel

I always love Cozumel. Recommend any excursion that includes Tequila tasting.

Progreso

Progreso is hot, but interesting. The shopping by the port was good if you are looking for locally made souvenirs.
