My trip on the Viking Star was fabulous and exceeded my expectations.

The food in the World Cafe was exceptional and we ate there for dinner for 6 of our 14 nights. We also dined at Manfredi's and the Italian food was very good. However, the real gem is the Chef's Table--gourmet dining at its best! It's a 5 course dinner with 4 wine pairings. You sit back and enjoy the food experience as everything is pre-selected for you based upon a culinary theme for that evening. I've never experienced a better meal on any other cruise line and I have taken many cruises.

Mamsen's for Norwegian waffles is another must. And the afternoon tea is elegant with a delicious offering of small sandwiches and sweets along with a large selection of teas from around the world. It's the best afternoon tea at sea even surpassing Cunard's service.
