We were on the Grandeur for a 16 night cruise from Miami to the southern Caribbean then up the Charleston, SC and New York City. Overall, it was a wonderful cruise.

The highlight of the cruise was the dining experience. All the dining venues offered delicious food and very good service. Natasha and Monique were seemingly everywhere in the restaurants and helped make the experience as good as it was. We dined in all the venues at least once and when we didn't have a reservation elsewhere, kept coming back to Compass Rose. The room is wonderful as is the food. A couple of items weren't excellent, but that was a very small minority. The included wine selection was solid and cocktails were very well made. There were a couple nights early in the cruise when service was slow but that improved quickly. The wine lunch was very good, with some unusual pairings but great food and wine. The overall dining was five stars.

We were in a Superior Suite and the layout was excellent. There was plenty of storage, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size, with double sinks and a separate tub and shower. Having the bed face the balcony was nice too. A couple quibbles were that the duvet made for warm sleeping and we could hear our neighbors talking sometimes. Our location midships on deck 8 was handy to everything. Our room attendant was efficient but not very visible. I like the light for Do Not Disturb/Housekeeping but I wish Regent used red and green lights instead of both being white, but that’s more of a problem for the crew. Five stars.
