This was our third cruise with princess, after having a magnificent time on its sister ship, the Royal princess back in 2017 we thought we'd all get back together and try the regal! There were 10 of us ranging from 22-80 years old.

We were all very excited as we had all just loved our time on the Royal princess but I don't know if princess has changed post covid or cruising in general.

First off, our biggest thing we all noticed was the food. The buffet for lunch and dinner was usually the same thing where some stuff was good and others not so much. The biggest difference was in the dining hall. They have significantly cut down on portions and the quality of food was poor. 12 nights I think we had enjoyed our meals maybe 3 times. Back in 2017 on the Royal princess our food every night was excellent.
