Horror Cruise! Norwengian is no longer Norwengian! Since COVID, NCL cruises have deteriorated in an inexplicable way. We are on board the Dawn crossing from Africa to Europe. An outbreak of gastroenteritis on board. Hundreds with diarrhea, including crew. The same ship, on the last cruise before this one, had already been quarantined on the Mauritius Coast with cholera suspected. It seems they didn't take care of the cleaning and again the same problem on board! This is a risk to people's lives, especially elderly ones. Worse is that there is no transparency in communicating with guests, simply from one day to the next they abolished the menus, prohibited guests from serving themselves, including water, coffee, etc... creating fear among guests without any explanation or apology! We had already had 4 problems on this same cruise, namely: 1) purchasing a type of cabin and placing it in a lower category. They said that nothing more could be done, as the ship was overbooked…2) we purchased the cruise with a bonus of 200.00 dollars for use on board. When they changed our cabin the credit simply disappeared and even with the purchase voucher showing the credit, nothing! They simply told us to look for our travel agent when they got back…Oh! The agent is NCL itself and what to do with a credit for use on board after the cruise? 3) we paid all service fees in advance as we always do, but we are being charged again. They asked us require a refund 3 days before the cruise ended, just one more inconvenience!!!.4) on the first day we booked 2 tours. On the same day we received notice that 1 of them was cancelled, but it wasn't… the other one was told it was over! They say we have priority because we are latitude platinum customers… I imagine others aren’t!

5)They canceled a call port (Banjul Gambia) saying it was due a bad weather problem, but no website, including one specializing in navigation, had a bad weather forecast. They sent us a letter from the captain saying they were going to give a credit of $200 dollars per cabin. Then they changed their mind and gave only $100 dollars. Why they don’t say the truth that they were having problems with guests because they said visa to Gambia fee is $25 dollars and then changed it to $150 and that the ship had already been delaying its schedule for a days. Again another disrespect with guests.

It seems NCL doesn't care about keeping customers anymore. He no longer cares about the company's future operations! A shame for a company that was once an example of friendly service and that cared about its passengers
