they don't tell you that the weather will "probably" stink--1st stop Bergen-now they tell us it's the rainiest city in europe-rain coming down sideways-couldn't get off the tour bus-day 1 wasted-sailing to Alta was fine-decent weather-get toAlta-if its cloudy, which it was-there's nothing there-excursions are expensive but necessary-try the husky ride -its very very good-typical clouds, no lights-

tramso slightly better -took the culinary tour which was fine-cloudy again -no lights-lots of 50-70's era architecture-Narvik better tour-a little more history and architecture-left Narvik after 1 nite and went to sea for 3 days in a storm-and i mean a storm-horrible time -couldn't get us to Amsterdam except for 2 hours-horrible trip-they never should sell this tour this time of year-the crew will discreetly tell you the weather is probably going to be bad there and its unusual to get a good look at the northern lights--THEY NEVER SHOULD ADVERTISE AND SELL THIS TOUR(regardless of their disclaimer which is curious for an expensive trip)- boat very nice and clean-crew very helpful and polite-food good not great-we had a beautiful explorer suite with a balcony we couldn't use after the first 5 days-lots of money-little in return-they should refund 50% of everyone's money

usually cloudy-no lights-nothing to see in the "city"--take the husky ride-that's great
