My wife and I are relatively new to cruising having taken just two cruises before this one. This was our first time on a premium line like Regent. We had a blast!

First, the ship. It is only a few months old and it is simply magnificent. Every detail was well thought out and well executed. The focal point of the ship is the cental atrium which is an elegant multi-story space where all the services (reception, concierge, destination services etc.) can be found. While there is an elevator that services both of the main decks here, I often found myself using the grand central staircase just because it was so beautiful. The boutique, the small casino and the Constellation Theatre are also directly off this part of the ship.

We spent lots of time at the Coffee Connection and in the Meridian Lounge just aft of the atrium. There was always fresh fruit and plenty of sweets as well as coffee available here. There were jigsaw puzzles to work on which turned out to be great fun (Liberty Puzzles are the best!). A couple other places we really liked were the Observation Lounge on deck 11 and the library. They are bright, and airy and have great views. The furnishings are also super comfortable.
