Sail Date: Feb 2024

The crew have been handpicked for the ultimate world cruise and it shows. They are bending over backwards to bring unique experiences, cultural shows, destination briefings, etc. The company has created some frustrations through inconsistent policies towards people doing same types of sailings (ex, offering discounts to those paying in advanced but not applying this equally to clients), and on board (tendering priorities to those on full world (279 days) over a segmenter (87 days) and even higher status clients, making a difference of several hours when tendering; giving gifts to some clients on same type of sailing and not others, etc). But these could be fixed through consistent training of staff, revision of policies. The ship is showing its age (some rust here and there), but it is lovely and cozy. Would be good to see them use areas that are not being used (Safari club) that offer better vistas and more space. Although you can access it, no service is provided daily. Instead areas like sky bar and crown and castle are staffed with virtually no one there. The crew though are the best on the sea. They truly are bending over backwards to make this cruise memorable for everyone. Some lessons learned for corporate For next the world cruise! Would certainly want to sail again.

Cabin Review

Cabin was good, basic. Had lots of room for extra clothes needed for long cruise.

Port Reviews

Auckland

What a beautiful city! It was rainy, so we costed the museum by foot. Lovely museum and very informative

Brisbane

We did an excursion to the zoo. A bit of. A drive but so worth it! Saw koalas, Roos, etc

Hilo

In Hilo a great excursion takes you to volcano park. A must see on this island.

Honolulu

If one has time, a cause to the Polynesians cultural centre is a must. A great overview of the different countries and cultures and of course a beautiful drive up the coast

Moorea

This port has nothing! Not even a small store to get souvenirs anywhere walkable. We did snorkel and it's the best conditions (colour and clarity) and got to see rays and small reef sharks.

Newcastle (Australia)

This poet puts on shuttle buses to bring you into town. The fort and lighthouse are nice to walk to, but the town offers very little. Great ice cream (some of the best I've ever had)... but not one souvenir shop!

Sydney (Australia)

This is by far the most amazing city! Beautiful, clean, friendly . Did the hop on hop off bus, and walked around and graced a pint. More time is needed in this city! We only had the day/evening. We also tendered in the AM till our ship moved to the dock, but the harbour has massive capacity tender boats.

Tahiti (Papeete)

Beautiful island, beautiful city. Very walkable from port, loads of shops and restaurants close by. Did snorkel here but was disappointed after Mo'orea.. water was clear, just no reefs..
