Dirty table when we got to our room

What can you really say about a stateroom where the bedding had obviously not been changed from the previous guests. We didn't realize it the day of embarkmentas the sign in our room said, "not ready yet, will be back at 1pm" though the bed had already been made. We dropped our bags and headed out to the pool (where you will absolutely never find a lounger unless you are a very early riser) When we went to bed, my spouse said she smelled something like body odor mixed with stale alcohol. The next morning, we examined the bed and found numerous blood stains on the sheets and the duvet and pen markings on the pillow cases. I went to customer service who sent an officer and the stateroom attendant to take pictures and apologize and say they would have the room deep cleaned. It never really happened. The bedding was changed but the concern expressed by the staff was more of a flippant, oh that again, type attitude. The TV remote,TV and the dresser had dirt and dust on it after what was supposed to be the deep clean. The customer service staff throughout the entire trip was essentially non existent.

We were supposedly linked to our parents reservation but we were not at the same table for main dining so the next day, more time was waisted having to wait in line with all the others who's reservations were a mess to talk to the restaurant manager to fix that issue. We also then learned that even though early dining was supposed to be 6, it has been changed to 5:30 for the entire trip. The upside was the food from the buffet was better than some other cruises I've been on.

The decor is very dated, there is peeling paint and wood throughout the ship and the public toilets didn't seem to be cleaned at all during the trip with black streaks appearing in every public toilet after day 3.

Aruba

Aruba was awesome. Booked a catamaran snorkeling tour and was able to walk from the ship to the catamaran.
