This was our first cruise onboard Riverside, which we took knowing the Mozart was previously part of the Crystal cruise line. We received a tip that it was an amazing ship — and we were not disappointed.

The ship itself is beautiful, and very spacious for a river cruise. Our French balcony room was well appointed, and felt larger than we would have anticipated or than you see on other river cruises. The common spaces are beautiful. The rooftop deck is enormous, with multiple spaces for lounging and eating and a rooftop bar. The restaurant, bar, and lounge sit on the 3rd floor are all gorgeous.

While we expected the ship to be very nice based on what we had heard, what we did not expect was the high quality of service and food. This was easily the best food I have ever experienced on a cruise, and is truly Michelin star qauality in the main restaurant. We were blown away. The staff is friendly and provide impeccable service, from the waitstaff in the restaurant to the excursion manager.
