This was our 10th cruise and the 7th one on Princess. We always wanted to visit the South Pacific but the long flights always stood in the way. We decided to just go for it and are so happy we did. This cruise was our 50th wedding anniversary cruise so we booked a full suite. The suite was worth every penny. Not just for the room, which was fabulous, but all the perks that come with being in a suite. We were in cabin which was just a few doors down from the Concierge Lounge which is, in my opinion, one of the best suite perks there is. This is a private lounge for suite guests only. You can grab coffee and breakfast foods in the mornings, drinks and snacks in the afternoon and they have a cocktail party every evening from 4:30 to 6:30. The staff is incredible. For a full breakfast menu, suite guests are invited to the Harmony Restaurant, also fabulous. And for lunch and dinner you have what is now called Reserve Collection Dining in the Concerto Dining Room. This is where you really get spoiled. You have the same servers every meal, they know you and what you like and do their best to make sure everything is perfect. The Majestic Princess is a beautiful ship with a fantastic crew, we loved every minute. The South Pacific is beautiful too although we were there during their rainy season. We had semi-rough seas most of the cruise but I actually love feeling the waves and the ship handles it well. We had to skip one port, Dravuni Island, because of the rough seas but that was ok. Entertainment on the ship was great. No complaints about anything.

Cabin Review

Suite with Balcony

As I stated above, our suite was beautiful. Our steward was Rockson and he took wonderful care of us. The suite is a 2 room suite with plenty of storage, we didn't use half of the storage spaces. There were plenty of outlets. Room under the bed for our luggage. The bathroom is actually 2 rooms. One room has a full bathtub, a separate shower with glass walls and door plus a sink and lots of storage sheles on both sides of the mirror. There is an interior door that goes into the toilet room where there is another sink and mirror and more storage shelves. You can access the bathroom from the living area and also from the bedroom. My only complaint and it is minor, the balcony is quite narrow. You have a double balcony and can access it from the living area and from the bedroom. There were 2 lounge chairs with foot rests and a small table on one side plus a larger table with 2 more chairs on the other side where we enjoyed our breakfast several times. In order to lounge you had to place the lounge chairs sideways. As I said, a minor complaint. Everything about his cabin was perfect.
