We love the entertainment on most of the Oasis-class ships, but the shows on the Symphony of the Seas were absolutely spectacular and amazing--by far the best we've seen. The Aqua show, the two ice shows, RC's original show regarding flight and the Broadway show, Hairspray were top notch. We have been on Oasis, Allure, Harmony and now the Symphony. Symphony was by far my favorite based on the quality and quantity of shows offered. The food on this ship was ok. Royal Caribbean seems to have adopted a standard menu that is the same throughout the fleet in the main diningrooms. The variety and quality are hit or miss depending on the day and menu items. The Windjamer buffet had the same or similar menu as the diningroom. The Solarium Bistro has the same dinner menu each night, but the quality is better and the menu is different from the main diningroom or Windjammer. We also enjoyed the complimentary Mexican restaurant. Pickleball was fun and popular on this ship-where there were three courts. It was offered every morning from 8-11 am. Embarkation and Debarkation were quick and easy. Royal Caribbean does a great job with this. The service from Guest Services to our stateroom attendant was great. The casino manager was not kind or helpful, however. The large casino allowed smoking while there was a smaller casino that was smoke-free. I would have preferred to have the larger casino smoke-free as sometimes it was necessary to walk through it on your way to another venue. The ship is well maintained and kept very clean. We loved our spacious balcony stateroom that had two closets and a lot of storage. We also loved the updated bathroom with a regular one-piece shower door. Overall, this cruise was most memorable for it's wonderful shows.

Cabin Review

Balcony stateroom

It was spacious, clean and updated. Sometimes noise was an issue since the walls are thin.

Port Reviews

Falmouth

The port is relatively clean with lots of shops as well as outdoor vendors. There are many vendors selling handcrafted wooden items.

Labadee

Beach was ok, but the water was murky. Food was fair. CocoCay is much better. Vendors were extremely pushy. It felt uncomfortable.

Nassau

Love the renovation. Nice, covered walkway to get to the main area. Cute shops at the port and within walking distance from the ship.
