Cabin Review

The stateroom

We were upgraded to a balcony cabin on Sun deck 11, forward. Our cabin stewards Erwan and Budi were absolutely excellent. We were asked at the beginning of the cruise if we would like a single or twice a day turn down. These two worked so hard and nothing was too much trouble.

There was plenty of storage space and room under the bed for our luggage. An umbrella, bathrobes, hairdryer, beach towels and blankets were available for our use. There is a fridge with mini bar (which we didn’t use). We did ask for the ice bucket to be refilled every day and it was wonderful to chill down our glasses of water. We bought a water package which was 6 bottles for $27 plus 18% service charge after finding that we were drinking over a bottle a day. There’s no tea/coffee in the rooms. (Which I do miss). The air conditioning is easy to alter to your requirements. There is a good size television that has access to everything on the ship’s navigator app on it. So you can check your account, see the daily programme etc.

We had complimentary room service for breakfast one morning, which was delicious. We had a small balcony with two chairs, two stools and a small table.
