We arrived in Southampton at a cruise parking area and were coached to the port within the hour. Check in took about 30 minutes and we were in our cabin by about 3pm and cases arrived less than an hour later. All went smoothly and reminded me of why I cruise and avoid planes at all costs! Stateroom was great and the layout was much better than NCL with loads of storage for clothes, cases etc. Really can't comment negatively about the cabin at all but then I am very easy to please.

First job was to seek out the smoking areas (unfortunately I'm a tragic slave to the nicotine ) and order a cocktail. Cocktail menu on the top decks was fab particularly the dirty banana. ( have stolen a menu to replicate at home - that's what the 15%tip is for isn't it?) Then 4 Days to watch the world go by. Said 4 days went by in a cocktailly blur with some reading and a trip to the spa. Lovely massage and facial but no, I do not want to buy your recommended products at over $300. persuaded on the $68 cream to sort my broken veins but to be honest, the cocktails probably negated any effect. Yum yum yum.

Don't do formal or set mealtimes so we just ate as and when in the buffet. Plenty of choice and variety but seriously, where do they get their ideas for sandwiches? Veal and tuna mayo? Ewwwwwwwwwwww. Ate a lot of cheese! Tables often a bit hard to get but no great problems.
