We joined friends and my daughter for this "once in a lifetime" Antarctic cruise. The big takeaway was the outstanding customer service throughout the ship in every venue: room steward, dining room hosts and stewards, Guest Services, photo shop, and internet booth. Across the board the staff at each of these went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and delightful cruise!

The Captain did a wonderful job of substituting fascinating scenery and commentary when weather conditions forced port cancellations.

There were only two significant negatives but they're "biggies":

Cabin Review

Balcony

We had a balcony cabin on Lido Deck, close to the elevator. The cabin was comfortable with enough storage to handle everything including our numerous suitcases without feeling cramped. The bed was particularly nice: very comfortable with good pillows. The bath was a bit skimpy and the shower was definitely marginal! we managed but routinely flooded the floor.

Our cabin steward was exceptional! Friendly, on top of everything, very accommodating to our requests!
