This was our sixth Princess cruise and the third on Discovery. It was a great time and had many great aspects. Not all was perfect though.

Embarkation: This was a chaotic embarkation. The arrival window was 1030-1400 for everyone so you can imagine most people show up at the beginning of that window. This overwhelmed the waiting area so the Platinum area was actually the area for anyone that didn't make it into the Elite area. The line wrapped around and was kind of a mess and there certainly was no benefit to being Platinum. The employees were giving conflicting directions where to stand and some were not friendly. The actual check in was super easy but they should stagger arrival times more so it's not this packed.

Cabin: We had a mini-suite on the Lido deck. It was very nice and had plenty of room for two of us. I'm not sure I would say it would be roomy for four but for us it was plenty. Our cabin steward, Maman, was super friendly and did a great job.
