We've cruised to the Pacific before and we have cruised with pre-pandemic Princess so this will be both an honest and (hopefully) informed review.

Overall I feel Majestic Princess hits its mark as a premium cruise line. There are some little oddities with the ship, primarily as a result of its designed for China past. I'll deal with those issues first. Yes it would be better with a wake pool; there are too many shops; the bar that was converted over from a Sushi bar is poorly designed; and the VIP casino come sports bar is a poor spot to place a piano and crooners lounge would be better.

But with 5,300 passenger aboard it didn't feel crowded; the entertainment was excellent; the food was great; and in the Reserve Collection part of the MDR the service was excellent.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

We had a Reserve Collection mini-suite, very comfortable and well designed, except for the retro shower curtain - which I understand will disappear after the ship's next visit to dry dock.
