The famous Trevi Fountain
Our day at sea
The port of Ephesus Turkey

We always wanted to make a trip to Europe to visit all the beautiful countries we’ve only heard about. This was a lifetime trip for us and we heard such good things about Viking from friends and coworkers. We choose Viking because they were able to handle every aspect of the trip from point A to Z. Since we never traveled this far to countries outside of the US we felt safe in allowing Viking plan this trip. The ship was so beautiful and brand new built in 2023. We were greeted so graciously by the staff and felt so welcomed on our first night after a long 13 hour flight. Hungry we visited World café and the food was so delicious with many choices. We had a room with a balcony and it came with a nice table & 2 chairs to enjoy morning coffee and watch the sun rise to a glass of wine for evenings sunset. It was glorious. Our first excursion starts in Athens Greece, then Ephesus Turkey, Sicily, Naples, and one day at Sea. At the end of our seven day cruise, we did a post trip to Rome to visit the Vatican, the Colosseum, and all the beauty of Rome.

Our stay in Rome was in a beautiful hotel that was selected by Viking and only a 10 minute walk to the Vatican. At the end of our trip in Rome, Viking representatives assisted with the travel to the airport to allow us check in and getting our boarding passes. Everything was handled through Viking perfectly. Then the trip back home to Houston Texas.

Cabin Review

Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the restroom was very spacious with heated flooring. The shower had plenty of room inside.
