The ship is excellent, well designed and thought out. Hardly anything was missing. Good coffee/tea station, no kettles in room, without fi generally works OK on the Mekong. Rooms have plenty of room and bathroom is super. The staff are fantastic, though perhaps a bit over attentive for us. Helpful, courteous and always a smile. Sometimes it's hard for them to understand your needs on good, it gets lost in the kitchen but eventually it was right. The quality of the food was exceptional, mostly local cuisine but western choices were available at Breakfast lunch and dinner.

The info from Emerald was poor on visas, they arrange upstream and take payment, dead easy. Also, they only dock at Phnom penh, elsewhere you are transferred by Sampan .
