We wanted to escape the Virginia cold, so we booked a 33 Day Cruise on Viking. It was our first Viking Cruise, and we were very impressed. The staff were excellent. Cornelia, the Cruise Director, was a sweetheart! After one morning visit to the Cafe Bar on Deck 1, young Ganesh had memorized our names, knew what we wanted and provided me a Cafe Con Leche and Blueberry Muffin for the next 30 days! The food was excellent, and we appreciated the fact that were not overserved. The quality and portions were excellent. Daily History and Nature Lectures by the resident historians stimulated us intellectually. The special entertainment was excellent including quality Jazz, Violin and Piano entertainers. The Viking Band was equally top notch and great for dancing. The Hawaiian and Polynesian itinerary was fantastic with many sea days. We were so impressed that we booked two more Viking Cruises!

Cabin Review

Service was twice a day. We loved the heated bathroom floors!
