Sail Date: Feb 2024

Under no circumstances would I ever sail with MSC again. The cabin (while very comfortable) was on deck 9 (directly above the lounge). There is no soundproof beneath the cabin and thus was forced to listen and "feel" the music into the wee hours of the night. When we went to guest services - we were told the cruise is full and there would be nothing they could do. So, EVERY night of the cruise, we were forced to stay awake till after 1:30am, try to get a few hours nap before leaving for excursions. What makes matters worse, there is no soundproof within the walls or ceilings and therefore had to listen to a screaming baby next to us and a large family of children above us.

We decided to pre-purchase a laundry package. We out our clothes in the bag and gave to our cabin steward on Monday. Thursday evening (night before leaving this train wreck) we still have not gotten our laundry back. Again, I went to guest services and was told they would make some calls.

The MSC App is a joke - you can't book any dinner reservations on it (countering all the signs and screens on the walls). I am constantly reminded to "connect" (about every 10-20 minutes). You can't pre-book any shows before 11:00pm the night before (and you are not notified what is playing until the night before).

Cabin Review

The cabin was always clean, and the cabin steward could not be any more friendly. She is the one bright star in this cruise.
