Cabin: Concierge Class 2

The cruise was meant to be a relaxing break and booked a Concierge cabin that was partially obscured.

On boarding we were left to our own devices, no assistance in finding our way to the cabin and when in the cabin no information on or where the welcome aboard lunch was being held. The concierge cabin was no different to other standard balcony cabins. The glass in the veranda had a crack through the full length, not a problem for us but could have been for the balcony spaces situated below, reported but ignored. The balcony was extremely small.

Our first experience of the Seaview restaurant was a bit of a shock, tables full of dirty crockery. The choice of food was extensive but our choices that day were not good, barely warm and poor quality meat. The food served in the main dining room in the evening was warm at best and after many complaints we were eventually served a hot meal by the Maître de Hotel on the last night. On the whole, the quality of food was terrible.
