Loved this cruise. Certainly helped by great weather and low price but also had very interesting ports of call of Thessaloniki (where we overnighted, and especially enjoyed), Kusadasi, Limassol, Rhodes and Heraklion. I've reviewed all of these in the relevant Ports of Call sections). Ship itself looking good after a refit, staff very cheerful and helpful, and food variable but generally good (though MDR menu a bit boring sometimes). Especially impressed with the grill at the rear of Oceanside buffet. Entertainment OK - great in-house musicians and cast (though choice of songs and balancing of music and voices not always great), couple of lively classical nights with talented cellist and piano player (which we liked but not to everyone's taste), a good comedian but a poor illusionist and singer. Thought drinks and excursion prices exorbitant but had three late evenings in port which allowed us to go ashore for cocktails.

Cabin Review

Worked OK but had issues. Booked guarantee, got Prime Inside S9 which is a newer cabin (carved out of the Conference Centre) amidst Aqua balconies . This was spacious and handy for the buffet and sun deck but was rather warm (despite air con) and had loud noise (sounded like air or smoke moving through a vent) sometimes when sailing. We use a wave machine for sleep so this compensated but don't think we'd have this cabin again. Also high up and near rear so could be uncomfortable in rough seas.
