This was our 12th cruise and 5th one with Carnival. I'm definitely a fan of the FUN ships. Embarkation in Long Beach is pretty streamlined. We always fly in a day early and stay on the Queen Mary the night before. Just get up and walk across the parking lot and your off. It makes it so easy and the Queen Mary is such fun.

The ship was in great shape. Not the traditional crazy colors that Carnival is known for. We had a Suite and the room was nice. The room steward was fast and friendly. The casino was very crowded and smokey but we had fun.

The food on the ship wasn't very good compared to other ships we've been on. The main dining rooms food was definitely sub par and I got food poisoning the first night we ate there. Stay away from the shrimp cocktail! Yucky

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin was great! Everything we needed other than the family next door kept slamming the balcony door.
