Love cruising so had to see what the hype was about with VV.

* Food at the restaurant - went to 5; 3 were exceptional; 1 was good; 1 was very average. Favourite - Pink Agave - both food and service staff were fantastic. Special mention to Molla and restaurant manager Jenny. Very attentive and eager to make the experience top class. Least favourite - Gumbae - we were at large table; not enough food - had to ask for more food and then a new grill plate. There was one waiter initially who started tending to us but then was passed onto another waiter who did not interract with us at all. We waited a long time for the second set of food to arrive and in the meantime, the grill plate was covered in burnt food. A bad experience and understand it is the staff that makes it a bad or great experience.

*Room attendants- were extremely helpful from getting extra blanket; american power point; to birthday balloons. Nothing was too hard for them.

Cabin Review

We changed from limited view sea terrace on Lvl 8 due to concern with noise from music etc to Lvl 11. Only one available(as advised by phone support line) was a limited view right at the front of the ship. Room was small in comparison to other sea terrace rooms and felt the ship rocking a bit. It was a very stable ship though.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Sydney is just a spectacular port to sail into/out of. So picturesque with the Opera House and everything within walking distance. The markets were on and bought some very unique items , good quality handmade things.
