The value of the cruise was good but once onboard the experience is not great. The ship is tired and old , really needs a modern update. MY cabin was in need of updating and cabin staff just seem stressed and miserable. We were allocated a great table at The Oriental but no Sommelier so the poor waiting staff are stressed out trying to get the hot food and cope with taking drinks orders which is so time consuming with the key card system...I JOKE SAYING HOT FOOD , the food was terrible. Small portions and luke warm, the produce was cheap and poorly cooked, the vegetables were over cooked and mainly always limp green beans (cheapest veg possible). Breakfast buffet was a nightmare, very repetitive, bacon and sausage were cheap produce, fatty and grisley, the omlette station only offered one filling per day. tomato one day, cheese the next, ham the next...you could not get like a spanish omlette. The buffet area is not one big space and so they close one side early and cause havoc the other side, you have to walk miles if you miss the cut off...just poorly managed. The food on the Azur was the worst i have ever experienced on any cruise and it was so obvious to my party and a lot of other passengers that we spoke to saying it was cheap produce and lots of cost cutting making our customer experience very poor. The decks where you sunbathe have a continuous smell from the sewers, it was awful in the hot weather and some people were complaining of feeling nauseous.. Worst experience ever...We had a nice holiday but that was due to the people we were with, the P and O cruise was basic and cheap and i would not recommend.

Cabin Review

The cabin was tired and old. Cheap shower curtain, scuffed walls and dirty carpet
