We were excited to cruise with MSC and on a newer ship as well. The ship is beautiful, the cabin was spacious enough for two average side people with adequate storage for the number of nights. The shower was tight but a good compromise with having a balcony as well.

Plenty of areas to sit around the ship but found it can get crowded so you have to be strategic with your timing. Servers came around to take drink orders but we noticed that there was no option for ordering appetizers or food in some of these casual areas. All meals were concentrated to the restaurants and the central buffet.

Overall the food was forgettable! Very poor quality and no good variety. Corned beef hash from a #10 can is not appealing, pasta noodles with cut up hot dogs is not appealing, canned baked beans not appealing. The highlight for me was the cappuccino machine which was only available in the marketplace and is always running out of either coffee beans, need to be emptied or it needed milk.
