Ncl has been our go to cruise line. We have tried others but usually prefer NCL. We are a couple in our 60’s, this was our 40th cruise We were traveling with another couple that had never been on NCL. Getting away from -19 temps in Nebraska

Getting on the ship in San Juan was fast other than my husbands card didn’t work to board so he had to go back to get another. We boarded at 1:30 so our cabin was ready. We ate our first meal at indulge food Hall. ordering by iPad was a bit confusing but our food came quickly with a very happy waitress. Our evening meal was in Hudson’s. The meal was very good and came quickly. So day 1 was pretty much a success. Ship was beautiful

Day 2. We tried the Buffet for breakfast but it was so crowded and the food was cold that we went to the local and got right in. At least the food was edible. Never went back to buffet for the rest of cruise. My husband used the gym he said it was very clean and well equipped but small. We did land and sea tour in Tortola, very enjoyable We enjoyed Le Bristo for supper. Venue was very nice except if you had to look at the round windows with no view only a white metal wall, not sure what they were thinking on that one could have had a window treatment to dress it up lol. The food was excellent and service was ok.

Cabin Review

Cabin was great. Very spacious bathroom and shower. A lot of closet and storage space. Padded chairs on deck Color scheme was very nice. Bed was most comfortable. We did have trouble with air. A few nights we were hot. I left a note for our mysterious cabin steward who we never met so I I wasn’t sure he read it. Only one turn down service and no towel animals lol. Less work but more tips, go figure. After he cleaned our room it had a funny order for awhile. Not a pleasant smell.
