This 11 day cruise was a lot of fun. Most of the staff was great. We found the guest service staff not as friendly as the cabin steward, bar and wait staff who were all very friendly. o’Sheenans, which is the only restaurant open after 10 or 11pm, was not very good. The food was pretty bad and the service was slow and not friendly like the other restaurants on board. The Jasmine was wonderful. Great service and delicious food. The other restaurants were all very good too.

There were 4 or 5 fantastic shows in the theater and the rest were entertaining but nothing over the top. The smaller bars had some very talented singers as well. We found the activities offered on the ship during the at sea days to be limited. Most revolved around NCL getting you there to sell you something. But our last two days were at sea and by then we had met so many wonderful people we just hung out with them at the pool. The ship was sold out and very crowded at times. Especially the pool and early dining times.

We found the theater show times of 7:00pm and 9:00 to be a little challenging. 7:00 pm is early when the main dining rooms don’t open till 5:30 . There was about a 30-45 minutes wait almost every night for the main 2 dining rooms if you wanted to eat before 7:30. After that they were more open. We made the best of it and overall had a great time.

Cabin Review

First time in an inside cabin. We liked the cabin but prefer the ocean view.

Port Reviews

Very aggressive locals trying to sell you things. If you visit here book an excursion to avoid them.

Key West

Loved this port. Lots to do just off the ship.

Puerto Plata

Fun port. We did a city tour excursion. There is a great area right off the ship where you can swim, hang out, a free lazy river ride and bar.

San Juan

A lot of history. We did a walking tour.

St. Maarten

Long walk from the ship to a little shopping area and where the excursions meet. The beach where the planes fly over very low is not a beach I would recommend staying long. It’s fun to see it but it’s loud, smells of jet fuel and when the planes take off rear a sandblast effect which can hurt your skin and get in your eyes.
