Having done 28 cruises [19 with princess],this was our 1st since covid 4 years ago.We have had all 6 vaccinations for covid plus the flu jab & taken buccalines [& have never been sick in these past 4 years].So decided to go back to cruising, what a mistake that was.Boarded in Auckland,3 days later kicked off for 5 hours in Sydney for a ship deep clean because of gastro according to the captain,by this time I already had covid, next 3 days was very sick as was the wife, got over covid [rats tested us each day]then got gastro. So were sick for half the cruise [not much fun when you have paid heaps for princess plus & hardly had a drink].

Its obvious from our past experience that princess was cutting costs at every level [not even a pen in the mini suite].The food was dreadful [ if you were on a 3 star ship you might have thought is was par for the course].

Entertainment was pretty much cheap & cheerful.
