Edge sailed to NZ and Australia. Chose it for itinerary. We are 75 year old retired teachers who have sailed over 150 cruises. Poor use of space. One night there was some dancing in the Club and many couples danced. Cruise director was asked about reassigning one of the dance bands to the Club…no change. If you like to sit and listen to music, eat, drink, and have large amount of people almost near you…this is a ship for you. For us, this balcony cabin was the best part of the trip aside from the ports. We decided to cruise on Celebrity Millenium and Solstice class ships only. We will avoid Edge class. Also, ad pix do not accurately reflect the typical dress of cruisers on this ship. Super casual even on “Evening Chic” nights. The Eden room had a dance floor with instrument settings but only solo musicians played there. Bartenders said they did not have people dancing at that venue ever.

This class of ship might best address the desires of new cruisers. Crew members work diligently and deserve to be tipped in addition to the tips charged by the line.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class Stateroom with Veranda

Ample storage. Good space. Good balcony cabin. Only 2 elevators and usually many people stopping at almost every floor.
