Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

We were so excited for our family cruise and our anniversary. It was a first cruise for most of our group. Being with family and seeing some beautiful places was fabulous but the cruise itself was far from what we expected.

Boarding the ship at our scheduled time is a joke we are packed in like sardines and everyone is crowded in such a small space. However once on board we found we could not go to our cabins we decided to go have lunch. Lunch was okay the portions were small but I guess this cuts down in food waste. But when I ordered a spinach salad for my lunch I expected a bit more than 20 spinach leaves. The service at Savor one of the dining rooms on board was spotty at best. Long waits for everything we requested but we couldn’t go to our cabins so it was not too big of an issue.

Finally we got to go to our cabins but our luggage didn’t arrive until during dinner sometime.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Our balcony cabin was lovely and our cabin attendant the best on the ship. Always a smile to share and warm words when we were heading out for our adventures.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

It was very crowded and the music played was incredibly loud

Cozumel

Although seas were rough we enjoyed the port and our visit to the secret river

Harvest Caye

This cruise owned area was just a bunch of over priced shops with an overcrowded beach We didn’t feel like we saw Belize only a tourist trap

Roatan

We loved Roatan despite the extreme poverty once we left the port the island is beautiful and the people are so kind.

New Orleans

If you have time be sure to add a day or two before and after to visit this historic gem filled with fun and fabulous food
