Given the marketing, the press coverage and the claims of “the world’s most luxurious ship” with a "heritage of perfection”, we were very excited and prepared to have our mind blown on the inaugural cruise of this new vessel. In retrospect, as relatively new to cruising, we should have done more research on Regent and their vibe. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot to like about Grandeur, but we didn’t walk away with a sense that "this was worth it and we will do it again”.

So to start with, there were a lot of people on board because it was a new ship and were devoted Regent cruisers The passengers were universally friendly.

So what was great on Grandeur:

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

The suite was amazing. The bathroom was great (loved the shower!), the closet was ample. Balcony was great. Amenities were great! Laundry service was flawless. Butler was always available, personable and efficient. We loved our cabin!!
