Sail Date: Dec 2023

Where do I even begin?! This was a NYE cruise and we wish we didn't go! The Oasis sailed out of Port of Miami on Dec 29 and returned on January 7th. Ports of call included Perfect Day at CoCo Cay, Curacao, Aruba, and Jamaica. Embarking on the ship was not an easy, quick experience at all. The port was insanely busy needless to say. Getting on the ship itself is long and tedious, and the workers at the port are very rude. Even when we entered the ship at the Promenade, we were only greeted by maybe 2 crew members. It did not seem like the big welcome you'd expect.

I guess we can start with reviewing the entertainment, since that is the easiest subject to mention.

One Sky- Awful production. Boring, has no plot line and makes no sense. You'll fall asleep during it.

Cabin Review

Two of us shared a central park balcony cabin on deck 10, midship. We had no concerns for the cabin other than the slow draining sink. Being able to listen to the music in central park every night was very enjoyable.

The other two in our group had an ocean view balcony on deck 10, midship. This cabin should not be in service. It has many issues with it!! Most importantly, the ceiling produces this squeaky crackling noise when the ship is in motion. Rcl knows about this as there are pieces of wood, cork, and paper shoved in the small crevices of the ceiling. Additionally, there is a leak in the bathroom, causing the whole cabin to reek of mildew/mold. This cabin in itself ruined our trip. They tried to resolve the smell by cleaning the carpets, but then the carpet reeked of carpet cleaner for days. Run in the opposite direction of this cabin!!

The hallways themself smelt of manure, and in the picture attached you can see the dirty dishes and garbage lined up and down the hallway for 10+ hours. The only reason why it was removed was because i called guest services.
