Sail Date: Jan 2024

We have cruised for about 15 years now and have sailed with Holland America, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian and Viking. This was our first cruise with Celebrity after hearing they are a class above we booked a four night to Cozumel out of Miami for our family of four. Boarding was easy, cabin standard size with plenty of storage. Dining option only one unless you pay extra and the food is mediocre to say the least. We were given anytime dining so had to wait to be seated between 20 and 45 mins. We bought the beverage package but had problems because apparently that only covers certain drinks and once again pay extra if you want anything more than a standard gin and tonic or beer etc, martini bar charges you extra. Everything on this ship they will nickel and dime you, even a Pilates class was an extra cost. The sushi restaurant had someone trolling the ship asking you to sign up for lunch (no cover charge) but pay extra to eat in there. We had two standard window cabins one was cleaned to a good standard the other hit and miss, hairs in the bathroom, dirty waste paper basket. One night chocolates on the pillow ( a nice touch) never got them in the second room or again in our room. Entertainment was really bad the comedian Sean Kent was probably the worst comedian I have ever seen his jokes were old and painful to be honest. Seagulls were a good band we enjoyed them but the shows were so cheesy they really need to look into some fresh and innovative entertainment. There were two fantastic acrobats, they should produce a show with them as the stars and work in some other interesting performances. The broadway dated shows were hard to sit through for an hour. Pool chairs omg, you better get up early or forget it, there are the 6am risers leaving shirts on chairs for four hours before they turn up and claim their territory it was bad. Shows that were supposed to happen during the day just didn’t happen, not sure why twice a pool deck show was canceled without warning. All in all the ship is tired, staff can’t be bothered apart from a few who went out if their way. Celebrity is not for us, we could have paid half the price and had twice the fun on another cruise line.

Cabin Review

Decent size plenty of storage

Port Reviews

Not a bad little port town, a lot of hassle from vendors but at least they were not rude like they can be in Nassau
