We've been cruising several times in the past with Carnival and RCL. We had great impression on Carnival back to 2016 so we chose Carnival Dream to sail with our 18-month old baby. However, the entire trip was not good at all compared to our past experience.

1) Embarkation - Probably the only good part. It is very smooth. We arrived on time and check-in is very smooth and fast.

2) Food - HORRIABLE!!! They only a few options in Lido Buffet. Every day is like the same Salad and Cold meat selection, with 5 or 6 hot dishes. Most likely the hot dishes are either overcooked, or too salty, or too light, or too dry, etc. We can barely choose maybe only one dish to eat. The dessert are just boxed cookies and crappy danish and croissant, and frozen cake? None tastes good. For Breakfast, they don't even have donuts and only offer Bacon twice, and with limited qty. I have to wait for 15 mins to get the relatively good French toast. What a waste of my time! Second, they don't have any kids snacks or kids menu on Lido Buffet. My poor baby can only eat hard boiled eggs we saved from breakfast throughout the day. Sometimes we have to feed her fries from Guy's joint. Her only snack is the ice cream cone without ice cream as it is like a cracker. Pizza place and Guy's joints are the only good stuff there but you don't want to eat them all the time. MDR is much better than Buffet but still not meeting our expectation. The Servers are nice, in both Lido and MDR, though.

Port Reviews

Belize City

Have to take the shuttle boat to the port. It is humid and they try to fully filled the boat as it is a 30 mins drive. The port has nothing but a few over priced stores, as well as some fake purses stores.
