Just completed Manila to Port Klang cruise as first of back-to-back.

First the good bits. Most of the service staff are fantastic - wait staff, stateroom attendants and bar staff are friendly and efficient. They aim to provide a quality service. Food is generally excellent at this price point. Actually better than expected but we didn't go near the buffet which always looked chaotic and the food very average.

But the sheer disorganization of getting on and off the boat is appalling and is making this cruise a real pain. Today we are in Langkawi - advertised as a docked port - and we are tendered! We arrived at 9:45 but weren't cleared to land for an hour. Then the long lines for the tenders begins. Don't expect to get off before lunchtime. This happens at most ports and is always blamed on the port authorities.
