This is my 5th cruise, having travelled mainly with RC and P&O before this. Overall it was a good experience for being first time with MSC in Yacht Club.

Cabin was excellent- good size, clean, tidy, comes with a complementary choice of alcohol (ranging from hard liquor/champagne/wine) to take home with. Mini bar refilled daily, drinks are included, but note that snacks are included for the first time only.

Dining experience was excellent. Occasionally the head waiter made special pasta dish in the dining room which was interesting. Personally preferred food on MSC>P&O/RC. Ingredients are very fresh, well cooked to my liking. Lobster still on the menu as I am aware this is now off RC menu. They made Italian food very well.

Cabin Review

Yacht Club Deluxe Suite

Excellent cabin, spotless and equipped with nespresso machine, hot water dispenser, tea coffee snacks chocolate still sparkling water and beer refilled daily.

Good size shower, sink, storage cupboard shelves and clothes drying line.

Good quality towels and robes.

Port Reviews

Brugge (Bruges)

Spent 2 days in Zeebrugge as Le Harve was cancelled.

MSC offered €20 for transfer on coach to and fro Blankenberg for 2 days. Bus leaves regularly- no issue.

Only issue was coming back- having to go through scanner, no YC priority, so waited long time in the queue. Taxi costs €50-60 each way into Bruges from port.

Lovely Christmas market open on Sunday otherwise all other shops are closed. I would recommend staying on board if no longer Christmas season. Paid €15 for MSC bus return trip.

Nice restaurants in Rotterdam. Easy to get into town. Within walking distance.

Within walking distance. Other excursions such as London/ Stonehenge can be quite far.
