My husband and I are in our late 60's. I would say that was the average age on this cruise. We have previously been on many Crystal cruises and several cruises on Marina and Riviera. This was our first cruise since December 2019 and it definitely met our high expectations.

The Vista is beautiful and serene. Artwork and lighting are stunning. The library was so inviting and the bakery near Baristas always had delicious treats. The only public area that was disappointing was the main showroom. The sight lines are terrible and not just for short people. The guest singer and magician shows were very entertaining, but we found the shows (what we could see of them) to be meh. The enrichment speaker was good.

We ate and enjoyed breakfast in the main dining room every morning. The main dining room is only open for lunch on sea days, so we often ate lunch in the terrace. You can order items from Waves grill or the Aquamar kitchen and they will be delivered to your table in the Terrace. We loved the surf and turf sandwich and steak fries from Waves. For dinner, we ate once each at Ember, Toscana and Red Ginger and four times at Polo Grill. We enjoyed all of the specialty restaurants. We missed Jacques but had a nice meal at Ember. Note, Ember is the noisiest of the specialty restaurants. We also opted for the Odyssey menu at Privee - it was the only dinner with a (high) fee, but we felt it was totally worth it. Our dinners in the main dining room ranged from good to very good. With very few exceptions, the staff at all of the dining venues were friendly and efficient.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Veranda

Cabin was beautiful and spacious. More than enough storage. Although I did miss the bathtub, the shower was just wonderful.
