A little background about us. Early to mid sixties, 45 plus cruises, six on Oceania in total this was our fifth on the Riviera.

Cruised on Celebrity, HAL, Princess, Cunard, P&O, Royal Viking and Silver Sea.

After being away from cruising for a year and a half we were looking forward to returning to Oceania. Primarily for the itinerary and of course the excellent food and service which are the main draw for us!

Again the stateroom is based on a twelve year old layout which works pretty well except for the sliding closet doors where you hang up all your clothes. The new retro fitted bathroom is the best change ever! No bath tub just a two person shower stall. Please note there are still bath tubs in some of these staterooms so you must inquire when booking this. The balcony is std size with two lovely cushioned chairs and table. New TV, additional USB outlets have brought this stateroom to current day levels. If you wish additional space consider booking a Penthouse suite. 440 sq feet compared to 290 with a huge walk in closet and lovely large bathroom. We enjoyed it on one cruise on the Riviera and it was wonderful.
