I relied on the reviews on this site to figure out what to do, so I figured I would contribute back.

We arrived in Port Canaveral around 12:30 p.m. to go through the embarkation process. If you aren't checking luggage, parking is a breeze. Their $15 a night rate is a little steep but oh well. We carried our luggage to the terminal area which had long lines. They moved people through very quickly, which was a great thing considering I had a backpack, duffel bag, camera case, and 12 pack of bottled water in my hands. After going through security we boarded the ship. It was probably a 30 minute process from the time we entered the terminal to the time we were aboard. I would advise that you only carry on things you are prepared to hold on to while standing for 10 minute periods at a time. All four of us were exhausted and sore by the time we got on board. FYI, all of our alcohol made it on board just fine too ;). Our room was an interior room on the lowest deck for guests. I am not kidding here when I say other reviews are true, it does have a slight odor of human crap. You don't notice it after a while though. Our room was small for four people, but we made it work. They wouldn't fold the two beds in the wall down till we went to dinner each night. This was annoying because we wanted them down so all four of us could watch tv. I never even saw the room steward, he always came when we were at dinner.

The ship was in great shape and all the employees, though foreign, were very friendly. They have photographers everywhere taking pictures, which gets annoying, but they are fewer between as the days on ship go by. We had a terrible group at our dinner table; no one talked or acknowledged us. For this reason, we only ate in the dining room 3 of the 4 nights. We could have asked for a different table, but didn't bother. The service is amazing and the food was fantastic. All the hype about the chocolate melting cake is true! I also ate pizza at all hours of the day! We did not try the room service so I can't say how that works. The buffet was great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would recommend trying the Mongolian grill on the pool deck also.
