Sail Date: Nov 2023

This was our 18th cruise on many different lines (Carnival, Celebrity, Cunard, Holland America, NCL and Princess) and we wanted to try a bigger class ship on Royal.

We flew from Ottawa, Ontario to Newark airport the day before the cruise and stayed at a nice B&B in Staten Island. Took the ferry back and forth to Manhattan to see the sights which never gets old!

Embarkation –This was the fastest embarkation we’ve ever had! We got out of the Uber at 11:30 and were ON the ship at 11:36 a.m.!!! The rooms were open at 1:00 p.m. and our luggage was sitting by the elevators so we grabbed it. Bravo to Royal for a job well done :)

Cabin Review

Our inside cabin was the nicest I’ve ever had or seen. We’ve only done inside a few times (usually get a balcony) but I loved this cabin. Very spacious, nice bathroom with glass shower door and the virtual balcony is great. You can look outside and see what the weather’s like - you even have to close the curtains at night! Would definitely recommend to anyone booking on this ship.
