We have been on 8-10 cruises different cruise lines. When we arrived in New York we were never informed that the itinerary had been changed. We were supposed to be in Bermuda for 2.5 days, instead we went to Port Canaveral and the Bahamas. We were told that the itinerary was changed due to bad weather in Bermuda, well the bad weather was actually in both Port Canaveral and the Bahamas as the front came from the gulf coast, the weather in Bermuda was warm and sunny per a friend there. We could not schedule any shore tours as per the ships employees they were all cancelled in both ports, no reason given. We had 3 rooms and none of them had wash clothes and one with no toilet paper and one had a single towel for 2 people. The app they have you download can not be used by minors so there is no way to communicate with them if you do not have a phone package. The buffet had the same foods everyday for both lunch and dinner, kids couldn’t get cookies as they wouldn’t put them out until 10pm, ordered turkey sausage for breakfast in the main dining room they said they were out of them and gave a chicken hot dog. We were only able to get off the ship for 3 hours on a 6 night cruise as stated above no shore tours and stores closed at 5:00 pm in the Bahamas. Ship was excessively loud, store employees were rude. Settled our bill on Saturday night and wouldn’t let us off the ship because bill wasn’t settled properly. My philosophy is for one to succeed they deserve a chance to fail, MSC in my eyes has failed miserably.
