The cruise was chosen as my partner had been on the ship several times before.

The fist statement I will make is the captain whilst he made the right decisions on the seaman ship of the boat a captain of a cruise linner should be more than that. Tne cruise was a 19 Day cruise in the Med. 1st 2 & 3rd day was spent in Southampton due to the weather Correct decision. But 2 ports were cancelled Cadiz and velencia. Replace with le Harvre and cartagena. This is were thing started going wrong. A little about myself and partner I am 70 my partner is 78 with Parkinson's wheelchair bound. P&O have stop the talks on the ports and trips unbeknown to be beforehand going on the ship. Went to the desk responsible for tips and port information what a waste of time. La Harvre told buses wre provide only one was wheelchair accessible. Asked what the times will be told it basically pot luck the weather was poor and expecting people in wheelchairs to sit around unsure when they can get a bus is poor. The ship morred the access Wass so steep people needed assistance when coming back to the ship. So stayed on board. That wasn't the end one area you can sit around is the pool area deck 9 what did they dicid3to do without any cocideration was to use chipping hammers on the roof which made the area unbearable.

Cartagena no trips again for wheel chair uses. But least we could leave the ship ito the port. That wasn't straight forward. It normally takes longer for disabled people to get ready so what did they do take all the lifts out of service we were stranded on our deck. When myself and others complained the office said it was in the Horizon and there a announcement. But nothing in horizon and the annoy did go through to cabins all we got again was tough. We did manage to get of by dinner time. When we walked to the town we saw one of the tour train asked why they don't take wheelchairs they said they do all the ship needed to do was ask and the will take a wheelchair and provide a portable step. Genoa no trips for wheelchair uses. Or buses to far so stopped on board. Civitavecchia. Captain ordered alll guests off the ship to deep clean the ship only wheelchairs to stay on board and anybody with serious mobility problems. So though son trips were on.The rest were left to go around town from 10am to 4pm not to be allowed on the ship. Naples no suitable trips for wheelchairs. Tried to to into the town but although no fault of the ship as they were carrying out work on pavements. Gibraltar we knew there be no trips as the buses are to small.
