We choice this cruise for 2 reasons. Number one was the itinerary and number two was the fact that we have previouslsly sailed with Oceania on the Marina, and were quite satisfied.

The overall cruise was fair at best. The ship was clean although there were some areas of deterioration. The greatest asset was the staff with the exception of the senior officers.

The most significant disappointment was the Captains decisions to cancel ports of call. Capt Silvachynsky kept blaming weather conditions for port cancellations. Three port cancellations is inexcusable, especially the last one which was Tangier, Morocco. The General Manager, Marck Warmenhoven failed to provide a rational explanation of why we could not dock. We were not tendering and were suppose to be docking in a fixed berth against a secure bulkhead. Several of the ports that we did dock were industrial ship yards with piles of debris.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite

Penthouse cabin was comfortable and clean. The only issue was the malodor of sewerage.
