We chose this itinerary because we have a cousin that moved to Portugal. She joined us on the cruise with her husband. Thanks to the great app it was the easiest embarkation we’ve ever had. We downloaded our pass, picked a time, and got on very quickly. Our room attendant (balcony room), Dennis was extremely kind and helpful the entire cruise. Our room was always clean and if we needed anything he was was there quickly to assist. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage. We did 4 excursions with Celebrity and all except one ran efficiently (no bus to pick us up in Malaga- the tour guide had to make calls). We enjoyed all the Spain ports of call and even this late in October the weather was pleasant. The entertainment was lacking, but we really enjoyed Will Martin and the other male singer who did a great impression of Rod Stewart. The waters were rough in Portugal and I didn’t enjoy that, but the sea bands were helpful and our kind sommelier brought me ginger beer. We mostly enjoyed the food in the main restaurant every night and had sushi once. All of the waitstaff were very kind and attentive. We loved the coffee and pastries at El Bacio daily and the healthy food choices at the spa cafe. Disembarkation was also a breeze. This was our 4th cruise and our favorite. We were glad we chose it.
