I'm not one to pull punches, and I also praise where necessary. There were four food highlights in the entire trip. Excellent Escargots, delicious Bananas Foster, Creme Brulee, and Lentil Soup that was fantastic. It was a shame that you couldn't have this for every single meal, because they were the only things I found to be excellent. Occasionally artistic presentations did NOT make up for lack of taste.

As for lack of taste, the Art Auctions show that many people sometimes have truly crappy taste as evidenced by the prices obtained via alcohol consumption during said auctions. What a JOKE!!!

Food was poor to fair. I don't eat at Hoss's or Ponderosa, but I bet it's pretty close (The Gatsby dining room that is). Gourmet food lovers should look elsewhere. (The WindJammer brought back childhood memories of K-mart's cafeteria circa 1980's). Desserts were the high point in any meal.
