This was a bucket list cruise for me and my sister. Cruised to Alaska in late fall to hopefully see the northern lights and we did. We were told it was the best weather of the season, even though it was the last cruise of the season. We simple loved the convenience of the cruise, unpack once and enjoy everything the ship has to offer which was alot. We enjoyed some of the specialty restaurants. Went on an excursion in Skagway, motor coach to White Summit which was in Canada and it was there we experienced the coldest weather with snow. It was delightful! We ate mostly in the onboard restaurants, we found them more appetizing than the buffet. Crew was amazing, loved our onboard cruise assistant director Bruno who is also a talented dancer! Crew is always willing to talk to you about their home countries if asked, and we found that fascinating. Also met many other guests who have become friends that we are hoping to travel with again. This was our 1st cruise of hopefully many to come.
